HRHS Football Student Athletic Trainers 2015
Meet our Student Athletic Trainers:
Aisha Obeid is in her senior year at Hickory Ridge. She is originally from Greensboro, NC. Her plans are to go to University of North Carolina – Charlotte and study in Biology. She loves spending time with her friends and going shopping.
Taylor Brown is a Junior at The Ridge. This is her second year as a student athletic trainer. She plans on attending Western Carolina and studying Physical Therapy and Sports Psychology. Taylor enjoys horseback riding and helping others. She is originally from Kannapolis, NC.
Savannah Brindle is one of our second year student athletic trainers. She is from Midland, NC. She would like to attend East Carolina University and major in Marine Biology and become a Veterinarian. She likes to fish, ride ATVs, reading, taking care of her pets and playing video games.
Kayla Hicks is a junior here at Hickory Ridge. She is originally from Tampa, FL. Kayla has big decisions to make between, College of Charleston, Florida A&M, or Vanderbilt. She is interested in majoring in Biology. She enjoys playing basketball for The Ridge and going shopping.
Sara Dees, a sophomore, is our youngest student athletic trainer. She is originally from Greenville, SC. She has her sights on attending the University of North Carolina. She would like to study Chemistry or PreMed. Sara is a member of the golf team and enjoys theater.
Harley Mealor is in her junior year at HRHS. She comes to us from Covington, GA. She would like to East Carolina University and study Sports Psychology. She enjoys being a student athletic trainer and helping others.
Sarah Melton is a senior this year. She is originally from Charlotte, NC. Sarah wants to attend Catawba College and study athletic training next year. She is also an athlete here at The Ridge, playing tennis and soccer. She also enjoys listening to music.
Angela Sneed and Alex Hartsell come to us from The University of North Carolina – Charlotte. They are both juniors at UNCC and are apart of the athletic training program. Their time here at Hickory Ridge is a part of their clinical rotations that are required by the UNCC program.
